Tara (she/her) is an experienced real estate attorney, professional gift planner, and successful nonprofit fundraiser living in Washington, DC. For nearly a decade, Tara handled sophisticated real estate finance and land use regulatory issues as a transactional attorney. Before moving to DC, Tara served as Director of Gift Planning and Director of Major Gifts at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she helped solicit and close one of the largest gifts to the UCLA College of Letters and Science. Tara received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, where she was a member of the Parliamentary Debate Team and won the collegiate Novice National Championship. Tara and her husband live in Georgetown and support a number of nonprofit organizations in the community.
