Live It Learn It provides DC public school students with rigorous hands-on learning opportunities - tailored to academic learning standards - to boost student achievement and motivation.How it works:
- Live It Learn It partners with select DC public schools to provide hands-on learning programs to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students.
- Over the course of the school year, students participate in three academic trips, one in each of our core content areas: History & Government, Science & Nature, Art & Culture.
- Live It Learn It supplements each trip with two classroom sessions: a pre-trip lesson to provide students with background knowledge, and a post-trip lesson to reinforce concepts learned.
- Live It Learn It provides transportation and handles all logistics.
