Live It Learn It believes that an effective educational system should supplement classroom instruction with active, hands-on learning.  

 

Too often - particularly in urban school districts - education takes place solely in the classroom.  This borders on inexcusable, particularly in Washington, DC, where students are surrounded by - but seldom exposed to - world-class cultural, historical, and natural resources.

 

Exposure to the world around them enables students to engage with academic material, and more fully appreciate the opportunities an education affords.

 

By working with area resources and DC public schools, Live It Learn It is making learning come alive for all students.
