Julia Tokeshi

Julia Tokeshi was born and raised in Southern California. As a kid her favorite activities were going to local theater productions, museums, and most importantly, blockbuster movies. Her love for culture led to being selected as an ambassador for her hometown in a sister-city exchange program with Kashiwa, Japan, where she discovered the power of experiential learning. Her passion for hands-on learning thrived at the George Washington University, where she earned both a BA and MA in American Studies, and was fortunate to learn at institutions like the Smithsonian and The Library of Congress. Julia is thrilled to combine her passions for education and culture and ignite those passions in a new generation. When not at the movie theater or a museum, Julia is eating, either her own creations or out with friends.
